Originally the home to Jackie Gleason's pioneering TV show way back before most of the parents of the readers of this site were born, The Gleason soon became home for touring live acts coming in throughout the late 1960s and 1970s, and continues this tradition today.
In 2007, the Gleason was acquired by Live Nation, and re-branded with the hallmark Fillmore moniker. As a result of this, the Gleason, now known as The Fillmore at the Jackie Gleason Theatre, now plays host to an even more diverse body of concerts, shows, and other live acts. |
