The Hotel Marseilles is an original Art Deco style boutique hotel with typical architecture and design features of the 1930's. Miami Beach was honored to have the contribution of a famous European Architect, Robert Swartburg, born in Bucharest, Romania who designed both the Marseilles and the Delano Hotels.
The Marseilles has almost all the peculiarities of the Art Deco style - vertical emphasis and a combination of flat and curved walls, use of glass blocks, neon, cove and porthole ceiling lighting and cast iron railings.
