Gryphon is located in the epicenter of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino's entertainment complex. Gryphon Nightclub has redefined South Florida's nightlife landscape. Created by John J Surgent and famed nightclub impresario, Michael Ault, (SpyBar, Chaos (Soho, South Beach, San Paolo), Tatou (NYC, Aspen, Beverly Hills), Merc Bar, Pangaea (NYC, London, Marbella, Spain) who has been called "the heaviest name in the party industry," by the New York Daily News, and "the king of New York nightlife by Variety.
Gryphon and it's sister club, Pangaea Lounge, deliver the ultimate nightlife experience through a successful mix of two sensational, yet distinctive concepts transformed into one vibrant nightspot, featuring world renowned DJ's, spectacular dancers, hosts of percussionists, and a state-of-the-art Funktion-One sound system and Martin Mac lighting system.

Named after a mythological creature that symbolizes the domination of both the earth and the sky, the Gryphon's architecture transports it's patrons into a mysterious and seductive fantasy world by combining stylish, innovative and modern design elements highlighted by a dramatic steel rod ceiling installation that envelopes the discotheque.
The Gryphon's main level features a central sunken European-style dance floor flanked by exquisite banquettes and two distinctive bars. The elevated VIP area, which can also be booked for private functions, is seperated from the main room by a color shifting opaque hedge colonnade inspired by the Cirque du Soleil performance of "O". The VIP area is strictly for table service and includes it's own private entranceway, bar, restrooms and security. |
